We would like to thank Canterbury Community Trust for contributing towards the annual salary of our research nurse for the seventh year running allowing her to continue undertaking vital research.

Thanks to Southern Trust and Eureka who at th end of 2010 contributed towards the purchase of a Sonosite M-Turbo Ultrasound System for use in the Emergency Department. This piece of equipment will aid a trained physician when they have a patient with a supected pulmonary embolism,heart deffect or trauma.When purchased this razor-sharp piece of eqipment will help save lives in the community.

Thanks also to Air Rescue and ANZ for contributing towards the purchase of a Glidescope at th end of 2010 which will be used to provide a clear view of a patients airway, enabling intubation.
